The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) is organising an introductory workshop on nature journalling, a fun and relaxing experience to learn more about our fauna and flora while improving your observation skills.
Nature journalling is so much more than drawing and writing and focusing on details in nature. No experience in drawing is necessary.
In this workshop, Wendy Orchard will introduce you to the basic elements and then guide you through creating the first page of your own nature journal.
The workshop will be held at the Pelican Path in North Narrabeen, 20 May from 10am to 12pm.
Each participant has to bring a pencil and a black pen. Sketch pad and coloured pencils are optional, as sketch books will be available on the site for purchase (cash only).
This event is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
For bookings, visit Northern Beaches Council website. For more information, contact the CEC on 1300 000 232.
