Does your child love to draw, take photographs or create videos? This is their opportunity to develop their talent while inspiring recycling actions in the community. MobileMuster, a non-profit organisation dedicated to mobile phone recycling, is calling all primary and secondary students to unleash their creativity for a chance to win big.
The “Inspiring Recycling Action” competition, which commenced on 12 June, promises to inspire and reward recycling action generously.
With an enticing total prize pool of $16,000, including two grand prizes of $5,000 each, the competition invites students from both primary (Years 1-6) and secondary (Years 7-12) schools to participate. Whether through a short film, drawing, or photograph, students can channel their artistic talents to promote recycling.
MobileMuster, in partnership with Cool Australia, have developed educational resources for teachers, including lesson plans for Years 3-8, to explore recycling, waste, and sustainability themes, helping students craft their competition entries.
The submission deadline is 30 September, and winners will be announced during National Recycling Week from 13 to 19 November.
MobileMuster’s initiative is poised to inspire the next generation of environmentally conscious citizens, driving positive change in the world of recycling.
