If you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice lunch surrounded by green areas that make you feel at home, then Glasshouse Grill at Pittwater RSL is for you.

Ideal for couples or families, Pittwater RSL’s menu covers classic plates to more innovative dishes to please everyone, even the fussiest palates.

But the experience at the Glasshouse starts with something other than the food, with the warm welcome by staff. Their smiles, attention to detail and willingness to make you feel at home can transform a regular Sunday lunch into a special occasion.

Mandy, the restaurant manager, is constantly making sure that everything flows smoothly and hassle-free, and the waiter staff is always ready to assist and, if needed, make recommendations.

But nothing is more welcoming to the Glasshouse than the smell of juicy meat making its last stand on a natural coal grill. A scent that transports you to summer family lunches next to the grill and sets you ready for the fest.

We ordered a Salt and pepper squid and a Lemon Lime Grilled Haloumi to get the party started. The size of both entrees was perfect and left enough room for the mains.

The New York Steak was 400 grams of happiness, marinated with a merlot and port wine jus with the rustic notes of the char grill crust.

The winter pomegranate and mandarin salad with king prawns was a creative and perfect counterpart, with the refreshing flavours of the fruits and the delicate tones of toasted almond and poppyseed citrus dressing.

And, to conclude, the sweets: a chocolate lava pudding. Just close your eyes and imagine the soft texture of the pudding, filled with a sweet chocolate fudge sauce that made a triumphal entrance to your mouth with a spoonful of vanilla bean ice cream, melting it with its warmth for a final touch of sensorial pleasure.
