Get ready to experience the heartwarming joy of operatic choruses this 13 August at 2pm in the cosy setting of The Waterford Hall at St Paul’s College, Manly. The Manly Warringah Choir is delighted to present their second concert in this new venue, following the success of their performance of Brahms’ German Requiem in May.
The upcoming “Opera Choruses” concert promises to be a captivating event featuring renowned soloists Natasha Gesto with her glorious soprano voice and the talented baritone/tenor Raphael Hudson. The charismatic Dr Carlos Avarado will conduct the choir, orchestra, and soloists, creating an unforgettable musical experience.
You will be enchanted by the enchanting solos and duets from famous composers like Verdi, Puccini, and Bizet, including the iconic Habanera from Carmen. Additionally, a medley of songs from the beloved Les Misérables will add to the diverse and delightful repertoire.
