Over 300 people attended the first Clean Energy Community Fair in North Sydney, organized by Kylea Tink MP in collaboration with the Smart Energy Council and local councils. The free event took place on Sunday 2 April 2023.

The Clean Energy Community Fair provided attendees with expert advice and practical solutions to reduce the cost of power and fuel bills, as well as family-friendly activities like kids’ face painting, refreshments, and an EV-powered sausage sizzle.

The fair showcased BBQs powered by electric vehicles, 17 EVs, two electric motorbikes, and four e-bikes. It was a truly remarkable experience for all visitors.

Kylea Tink MP expressed her gratitude to all the volunteers, attendees, keynote speakers, councils, sponsors, exhibitors, and North Cammeray for supporting the event, which aimed to help communities achieve net-zero emissions while also saving the planet and household budgets. “Together, we will achieve Net Zero Energy emissions across North Sydney by 2035,” she said.
