Willoughby City Council is inviting the community to help shape the future of Willoughby by having a say on the plans that will bring its shared vision to life.
In February, council adopted Our Future Willoughby 2036 – a long-term Community Strategic Plan that outlines a vision for a liveable, connected and sustainable Willoughby.
From 29 April to 27 May 2025, council is asking the community to provide feedback on the key documents that support this vision. These draft plans have been prepared to reflect community input and outline how Council will deliver local services, projects and infrastructure over the next 10 years.
The key draft documents on public exhibition include the Delivery Program 2025–29 and the Operational Plan 2025/26, which include the Annual Budget, Revenue Policy, and proposed Fees and Charges.
Also on exhibition is the Resourcing Strategy 2025–35, which includes the Long Term Financial Plan, Workforce Plan and Asset Management Strategy and Plans.
Together, these plans ensure council has the people, funding and resources in place to support the community, both now and into the future.
“These plans will guide how we deliver the services and projects that matter to you,” Mayor Tanya Taylor said.
“We want to hear from as many people as possible, whether you’re a long-time resident, new to the area, a local business owner or part of a community group, your input is vital.”
