Head High Disability Service will be bringing one of their famous pop-ups to Mosman in early March.
Starting on the 3 March and running Monday to Friday for the month, Allan Border Pavillion Oval will be turned into a ‘classy’ and ‘elegant’ mini-high tea. The opportunity allows for clients, or ‘head highers’, who work with the organisation to show off the skills they have learnt to the public and even potential employers.
Head High Disability Services itself is a progressive service for adults with intellectual, neurological and other disabilities. Based out of Manly and Mosman, they look to help equip adults with disabilities with skills that will allow them to become independently employable and enter the workforce.
Founder Julie Ross-Edwards told Northside Living News, “At Head High we are always striving to raise inclusion and enable my clients to be seen. As with any Head High initiative, this will be filled with joy, laughter and surprises, alongside delicious food and treats.”
50% of profits generated will also go to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, with a percentage also going to the ‘head highers’ as recognition for their good work.
