NSW government is inviting the North Shore community to have their say on the future master plan to transform Berrys Bay.

Following the release of the draft master plan by transport for NSW, it is understood the local community will have the opportunity to play an active role in the future of the site, by providing their local knowledge and feedback.

Member for North Shore Felicity Wilson said the plan provides a vision to transform the former industrial land of Berrys Bay into community open space.

“Berrys Bay is an iconic part of Sydney Harbour, and it is important that the site is returned to the community better than how we found it,” said Ms Wilson.

“Once complete it will provide the missing link in foreshore access around the Peninsula and reconnect the community and visitors to the Bay’s histories, foreshore lands and waters.”

Two community information sessions will be held on Thursday 13 October from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, and Monday 17 October 2022 from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
