Council has released its draft delivery budget for the next financial year, including $93 million allocated to capital works across the Northern Beaches.
Northern Beaches council interim chief executive officer Louise Kerr said that over the coming financial year, council would invest $93 million in capital projects.
“We encourage the community to take a look at what we are proposing and let us know what you think. Every comment is important in refining these vital documents which will ultimately benefit the community.”
Highlights include $14.5 million resurfacing of roads, $7.4 million improving reserves and parks including Balgowlah, Dee Why, Frenchs Forest, Manly and Seaforth. And $4.5 million for recreational trails and boardwalks including Manly Dam.
The community can have their say on the draft budget and other guiding documents at the Your Say section of the Northern Beaches Council website by 21 May.
