Candidates from the Bradfield electorate will be convening for a community forum at the St Ives Community Centre.
The Australian Conservation Foundation will host the forum, which will focus on issues such as nature protection and renewables. Candidates in attendance will be Gisele Kapterian (Liberal), Nicollette Boele (Independent), Louise McCallum (Labor), and Harjit Singh (The Greens).
The event will also include a barbecue beforehand hosted by Chef Danielle Alvarez. The BBQ will feature foods that are sustainably produced, with the Chef promoting the cause of farmers who are engaging in sustainable and traceable practices.
Attention will likely be focused highly on the front-runner candidates Nicollette Boele and Gisele Kapterian. The Independent candidate is looking to wrestle the newly redrawn electorate from the Liberal party, who are hoping Gisele Kapterian can hold onto the traditionally blue seat and succeed outgoing incumbent Julian Lesser.
The BBQ will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the forum commencing at 7:30 p.m. and finishing at 9:30 p.m.
