A body has been found during a search for a man reported missing from the Northern Beaches.
The 64-year-old was last seen in Ingleside about 2.30pm on 1 October.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following enquiries, the body of a man was found at Elanora Heights this morning, 2 October.
The body has not yet been formally identified but is believed to be that of the missing man.
Initial inquiries suggest the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
