Mosman Council is inviting community members to join a fully funded, catered, two-day training program aimed at developing community leadership and building connections. The training, designed by the Jeder Institute, will focus on Asset Based Community Development practices and finding innovative solutions for local challenges.
Attendees will learn how to weave, embed, and sustain these practices, moving from dialogue to action. The training has been shaped by themes raised at the Community Connections Roundtable event held in late 2022.
The event is part of Council’s ongoing support for the community in developing their own projects and bringing internal and external stakeholders together.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and attendees with any access requirements are urged to contact the organizers via email or phone.
The event will be held at the Mosman Art Gallery on Thursday 4 May at 9:00am, and Friday 5 May at 4:00pm. Participants are required to attend both days.
Registration closes on 1 May. For more information, contact Andrew Smith at (02) 9978 4006, or via the link here.
