The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust is inviting members to join its new community advisory committee by nominating now.
It is understood Harbour Trust is seeking a diverse and representative set of community advisers from the Northern Beaches, and across Greater Sydney, to play a role in helping manage precious locations and sites surrounding the area.
Members of the community advisory committee will be involved in managing places of national and international significance including sites with First Nations, natural, cultural and industrial heritage value.
North Shore locations include Sub Base Platypus, Headland Park, Georges Heights, Chowder Bay and Middle Head while the Northern Beaches covers North Head Sanctuary in Manly.
Nominations close at 5.00pm AEDT on Thursday 10 November.
