The Beach2Beach is on Sunday, 27 August.

Organised by Northern Beaches Rotary Clubs, all entry fees go to local organisations and charities.

With three starts, at Dee Why for the 13km run, Warriewood for 6km and Mona Vale for 3km, the race is designed for people of all ages and abilities.

Entries are still open and can be made up until the day (a $10 late entry fee will apply).

At the finish line the all-day Newport Community Festival will be held.

Get ready to dive into a day of fun, music, and community spirit from 8am at Bert Payne Park, Newport Beach. The festival brings together runners, families and locals for a day filled with excitement and family entertainment.

Features include a wide array of family-friendly games, surprises, and prizes. Face painting, Nipper’s activities and the Big Dig on the beach, and endless opportunities for kids to blast with RFS fire and SES trucks!

A great lineup of live music performances showcasing diverse musical genres – jazz, blues, reggae, Indy-style music and the Barrenjoey Music Showcase. Artists include The Q.C. Collective, That Old Chestnut, Ken Lloyd, Bangalley, and guitarist/singer Natalie Theodore ensures something for everyone to enjoy.

A wide variety of food options will be available from breakfast. A range of cuisines, the famous Rotary Barbeque, endless coffee or go to the beer and wine garden.

“We are delighted to introduce the newly strengthened Newport Community Festival as a platform to celebrate the incredible spirit and diversity of our community,” says Michaela Visser, the President of Rotary Club President of the Upper Northern Beaches.

“In collaborating with the Warringah Rotary Club, our hope is that this festival becomes an annual Rotary tradition, fostering a strong sense of family, friendship, unity and camaraderie within the entire Northern Beaches,” she said.

The Beach2Beach Fun Run and Newport Community Festival is made possible through the generous support of Rotary, local sponsors, volunteers, businesses and community members and groups such as Life Saving Clubs, SES, and RFS Scouts. Because our sponsors cover event costs, all entry fees are returned to these organisations and selected charities. As well, runners raise much-needed money for their own charities and organisations.
