Three males have been charged after a stolen car ploughed into several parked cars in Forestville on Friday 26 September.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended the crash site in Duke Street at about 9.25pm and found a silver LDV station wagon, which had earlier been stolen from Warili Road in Forestville, had crashed into three parked and unattended cars.

A 15-year-old male (who police will allege was the driver) and a 16-year-old male were arrested separately by police in the area shortly after. An 18-year-old male was detained by members of the public about 200 metres south of the crash site until police arrived.

All three were taken to Manly Police Station.

The 15-year-old was charged with negligent driving, unlicensed for Class, Class C, R, LR or MR, not give particulars to other driver, take and drive conveyance without consent of owner. It will be alleged that the 16 and 18-year-olds were passengers in the vehicle and the two were charged with being carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner. The 16-year-old was also charged with breach of bail.

The 15- and 16-year-olds were refused bail to appear at a children’s court on 27 September.

The 18-year-old was granted conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on Wednesday 15 October.

There were no reports of any person being injured.
