Families are invited to celebrate Mother’s Day with free live music and community activities as the Sunset Series concludes its 2025 season on Sunday 11 May at St Leonards Park.

Running from 1pm to 5pm, the event offers a relaxed afternoon of entertainment under the autumn sun. The music line-up features Natalie Slade, known for her internationally acclaimed soulful sound, followed by headliner Thando, whose dynamic fusion of R&B, funk and soul promises to deliver a memorable performance.

Children can enjoy a range of free activities including a craft workshop, a bubble artist and an AFL sports zone with giveaways. Food stalls will offer tasty options, including gnocchi from The Gnocchi Way and desserts from Dolce Bacio.

North Sydney Mayor Zoë Baker said, “Sunset Series is all about bringing people together through music, food and shared experiences in our beautiful public spaces. This special Mother’s Day edition is a wonderful way to celebrate with loved ones.”

The Sunset Series has welcomed over a thousand attendees this autumn. The final event aims to leave a lasting impression, showcasing the community spirit that defines North Sydney.
