A Mona Vale local man who allegedly used his bare toes to sexually touch women on a Northern Beaches bus has been ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment by court order.
The 71-year-old retired maths teacher was charged in February last year with five counts of sexually touching another person without consent after he allegedly used his bare toes to touch a schoolgirl and three young women sitting in front of him on public buses, but Manly Local Court has dismissed the charges after the man requested to have the matter dropped because of his mental health issues.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the Manly Local Court was told last year that the man “deliberately sat behind his female victims — aged 16, 18, 19 and 21 — and stuck his feet between the armrests of the seats in front of him before pushing his toes into, or brushing against their buttocks.”
Last June, the man was handed a Community Correction Order to be of good behaviour for three years to undergo psychiatric treatment.
