The Mosman Library Service has launched a range of regular activities in the Creation Space makerspace at Barry O’Keefe Library.

This makerspace and training lab focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM) programs and activities for all ages.

The Creation Space provides a special place for the community to create, learn, and develop digital literacy skills. It is equipped with cutting edge technology such as 3D printers, robots, cricut cutting machines, 360 cameras, coding packages, and VR.

Young people can enjoy fun drop-in experiences such as We Are VR on Mondays (13 to 16-year-olds), Collaboratory on Thursdays (12-18s), or Minecraft Madness on Fridays (8-12s), all from 3.30pm during school terms.

Adults can also book the podcasting studio on Mondays at 11 am, drop in to Creation Nation 3D printing on Tuesdays from 1.30 pm, try out Laser Cutting on Thursdays from 10am to 12pm.

The Creation Space encourages the community to develop imagination, innovation, and inspiration.
