Westfield Local Heroes has opened entries for community members to nominate individuals who represent an organisation (registered community groups, sporting clubs, not-for-profits, schools, authorities, or businesses) that make a positive impact on their local community or environment.
Each Westfield Centre will select three finalists to go through to the community vote. The successful hero for each centre will be awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation or group they represent, and each finalist will receive a $5,000 grant for their organisation or group.
Since 2018, the Westfield Local Heroes program has awarded $6.135 million in community grants to over 600 Local Hero organisations.
