Northern Beaches City Council is inviting feedback on a draft flood study for the Greendale Creek area, currently on public exhibition.
The study outlines how flood waters move through the Greendale Creek catchment and flow down to Curl Curl Lagoon.
The catchment is affected by flooding due to rainfall runoff and in the lower parts from rising lagoon flood waters. The result will update flood information currently used by Council for planning.
The study area includes parts of Beacon Hill, Brookvale, Curl Curl, Freshwater, and North Curl Curl.
Affected owners will have recently received a letter from Council and are invited to book a one-on-one 15-minute meeting with a flood specialist to get more details about how it affects them.
The next available sessions to book a meeting are on 26 April, from 9.30am- 1pm at Curl Curl Sports Centre, and on 29 April, from 9.30am-1pm at Brookvale Community Centre South Hall. Booking is essential.
For more information and to learn more about the draft study and book a session, visit Northern Beaches Council website or call 1300 434 434.
Feedback submissions will close on Sunday 7 May.
